LIP POST-TREATMENT CARE
At Natalie Rose Beauty, we strive to make your experience as enjoyable as possible and believe the best way to do this is to ensure you are well informed and prepared for your desired treatment services.
Please follow these post-treatment instructions to maximize your outcome and comfort!
Lip Enhancements & Fillers
Pre-treatment care is required for all appointments, and failure to follow it may result in complications and the need to reschedule at your expense ($100 per service).
Avoid blood-thinning medications, foods, and supplements (unless they are prescribed) for (1) week prior to your appointment. This includes, but is not limited to: ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin, fish oil, salmon, almonds/almond milk/almond butter, sushi, garlic, green tea and other supplements. If you normally use or foresee needing pain relievers, please use Tylenol as it does not thin the blood. Avoiding these medications and supplements reduce the chances of bruising and swelling.
Do not consume alcohol for at least (4) days prior to your appointment.
Use Arnica tablets for (1) week prior to your treatment (unless you are allergic or they are contraindicated with any medications/medical conditions you have – this may include high blood pressure). We carry the specific Arnica that we recommend, please stop in anytime to purchase it.
Hydrate for (1) week prior to treatment, especially if you are being treated with dermal fillers. Fillers draw water to the surface and dehydration can severely minimize results!
For dermal filler and Kybella appointments, please book your treatment at least (2) weeks prior to any special events. There may be swelling and bruising for 1-2 weeks following your appointment.
Please arrive without make up. If you are wearing make up, it will be removed prior to your treatment.
Do not arrive on an empty stomach.

If you currently have or have previously had lip enhancements by another provider, it is very likely you will require dissolving of your old product to achieve your desired result with us. This can be done at your complimentary consultation appointment. There is a fee for dissolving and it may require more than one session. Old filler cannot be dissolved and new filler injected in the same day, please plan accordingly. If this applies to you, please leave a note in the appointment portal when making your consultation appointment and be sure to follow the pre-treatment instructions.
