Individually powerful, together they form a synergistic partnership that delivers unparalleled results, leaving you with radiant, youthful skin you'll love to flaunt.

The Power of VIVACE RF Microneedling

VIVACE RF Microneedling is a revolutionary treatment that harnesses the power of radiofrequency energy and microneedling to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin from within. By creating controlled micro-injuries and delivering heat energy deep into the dermis, VIVACE triggers the body's natural healing process, resulting in firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.

The Cool Peel Advantage

The CoolPeel laser is a type of fractional CO2 laser treatment that targets signs of aging, sun damage, and uneven skin texture. It delivers short pulses of energy to the skin, creating tiny holes while leaving surrounding areas intact. This promotes collagen production and skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime compared to traditional CO2 lasers. It's called "CoolPeel" because it utilizes a cooling mechanism to keep the skin's surface cool during treatment, enhancing comfort and safety.

Why They're Better Together

While VIVACE RF Microneedling and CoolPeel each offer impressive benefits on their own, when combined, they work synergistically to enhance and amplify their effects. Here's how:

  • Enhanced Collagen Production: VIVACE stimulates collagen synthesis deep within the skin, while CoolPeel removes dead skin cells and encourages cell turnover, resulting in improved texture, tone, and elasticity.

  • Deeper Product Penetration: The microchannels created during VIVACE treatment allow for better absorption of skincare products, maximizing the benefits of any post-treatment serums or moisturizers, including those used during and after CoolPeel.

  • Comprehensive Rejuvenation: Together, VIVACE and CoolPeel address multiple skincare concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, uneven tone, and texture irregularities, providing comprehensive rejuvenation for a radiant, youthful complexion.

  • Minimal Downtime, Maximum Results: Both treatments are minimally invasive and require little to no downtime, allowing you to return to your daily activities with minimal disruption while enjoying visible improvements in your skin's appearance over time.

At Natalie Rose Beauty, we're committed not only to enhancing your beauty but also to ensuring your health and safety with every treatment we provide. Today, we're addressing an important topic that's often overlooked: the dangers of flying after receiving lip and dermal fillers.

The Hidden Risks of Flying After Lip and Dermal Fillers

Flying can significantly impact your fillers due to the changes in cabin pressure experienced during a flight. While the cabin of an airplane is pressurized, it doesn't fully replicate the atmospheric pressure found at sea level. This decrease in pressure can cause gas and air pockets within the body to expand, including in areas where fillers have been injected.

The Potential Risks

Swelling and Discomfort: The most common issue is increased swelling and discomfort in the treated areas. This can not only be painful but also temporarily distort the desired aesthetic results of your fillers.

Bruising and Bleeding: The pressure changes can exacerbate bruising and bleeding, particularly in the initial days following your treatment when the filler hasn't fully settled.

Longer Recovery Time: If the fillers are affected by flying, you might face a longer recovery period, delaying the time it takes to see the final, beautiful results.

Rare Complications: In very rare instances, significant pressure changes could potentially lead to more serious complications, such as vascular occlusion, where a blood vessel gets blocked by the filler material, though this is extremely uncommon.

Guidelines for Flying After Fillers

To minimize risks and ensure your fillers settle beautifully, we require/recommend:

  • Waiting at least 24-48 hours: after receiving fillers before flying. Some experts suggest waiting up to a week for longer flights or if you've had extensive work done.

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your flight to help reduce swelling and aid in the recovery process.

  • Follow Post-Treatment Advice: Adhering to the aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner is crucial, especially when flying post-treatment.

Planning Ahead

At Natalie Rose Beauty, your safety is our priority. We understand the desire to jet off after enhancing your beauty and we sincerely appreciate those who travel to us for treatment, but we strongly advise considering the timing of your flights in relation to your filler treatments. Planning can help avoid unnecessary discomfort and ensure you enjoy your beautiful results as intended.

Always feel free to discuss any upcoming travel plans with us during your consultation, so we can tailor our advice and care to suit your lifestyle.

Remember, beauty is not just about the treatments you receive but also about taking care of yourself afterward. Safe travels and beautiful results go hand-in-hand at Natalie Rose Beauty.

Welcome back! In light of the recent increase in the cost of BOTOX® Cosmetic, many of our clients are curious about how it compares with other options like Dysport and Xeomin. If you're considering a neurotoxin treatment to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, understanding the differences and similarities between these options is key to making an informed decision. Let's explore what sets them apart and what they have in common.

What Are BOTOX, Dysport, and Xeomin?

BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport, and Xeomin are all injectable neuromodulators, a type of treatment that temporarily relaxes facial muscles to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. They are primarily used for cosmetic purposes, particularly to treat and or prevent forehead lines, crow's feet, and frown lines.

BOTOX® Cosmetic

  • Brand Recognition: BOTOX® Cosmetic is the most well-known brand and has been used for cosmetic purposes for over two decades.

  • Onset & Duration: Typically takes effect within 3-7 days and lasts about 3-4 months.

  • Composition: Contains a small amount of protein (inactive ingredients) in addition to the botulinum toxin.

Dysport

  • Spread & Effect: Known for a quicker onset (2-5 days) and a broader spread, which can be advantageous for larger treatment areas.

  • Formulation: Slightly different protein formulation (less inactive ingredients) compared to BOTOX® Cosmetic.

  • Duration of Effect: Dysport often provides a slightly longer duration of effect in some patients, which can be beneficial for those seeking longer-lasting results.

Xeomin

  • Purity: Known as the ‘naked injectable,’ Xeomin is unique because it's purely botulinum toxin without any additional proteins.

  • Onset & Duration: Similar to BOTOX® Cosmetic, it takes effect within 3-7 days and lasts about 3-4 months.

  • Benefit: Because Xeomin lacks additional proteins/ "inactive ingredients", there is an extremely low risk (if any) of building a resistance or tolerance to this product.

Similarities Between the Three

Despite their differences, BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport, and Xeomin share several similarities:

  1. Mechanism of Action: All three work by blocking nerve signals to the muscles, reducing muscle activity and smoothing out wrinkles.

  2. Usage: Commonly used to treat the same types of facial wrinkles.

  3. FDA Approved: Each has been approved by the FDA for cosmetic use.

  4. Temporary Results: They offer temporary results, with treatments typically needed every 3-6 months.

  5. Non-Surgical: All are non-surgical treatments administered through injections.

Choosing the Right Option for You

The choice between BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport, and Xeomin depends on various factors, including your specific treatment goals, your body's response to these neurotoxins, and your medical professional's recommendation. It's important to consult with a qualified and experienced practitioner, like Dr. Himmelstein or Natalie, who can assess your individual needs and recommend the best option for you.

Looking Ahead

When it comes to choosing between BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport, and Xeomin, we understand that it's a personal decision. Each client's journey is unique, influenced by their specific treatment goals, how their body reacts to these neurotoxins, and of course, professional guidance. That's where we come in.

We're here to help you navigate this choice. As your dedicated team, we take the time to understand your individual needs and desires. Our approach is not just about administering a treatment; it's about crafting a personalized experience that aligns with your beauty aspirations.

As always, we are here to discuss your options, and find the path that's just right for you. We're not just your practitioners; we're your partners in this journey towards achieving your aesthetic goals.
